I am ALWAYS looking for comfortable and great fitting pajamas, and Soma is having their Semi-Annual Sale so its a great time to scoop up some great deals! The weather is changing and with it getting warmer, Soma’s cool nights pajamas are SO perfect for those kind of nights. Over the past couple months I was introduced to their Cool Nights Pajama’s and they have been amazing! If you have not tried these out before you seriously need to! What you need to know for the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale

With the exception of Black Friday Sales, and Amazon Prime Day– The Nordstrom Anniversary Sale is TOP on my list of times to be able to snag some great deals. Honestly this kind of thing really gets me excited.

What makes it so great? This sale is not like others where we are checking out on end of season styles…. Oh No. The items in this sale are things that are BRAND NEW for the NEXT season and are SERIOUSLY great deals. Not just women’s clothing, we are talking every category! Home, beauty, kids! Its SUCH a fun time!

Think about it…. basically FALL PREVIEW but ON SALE

Why this post so early before a Sale? Because this is the kind of sale you set your alarm for… Its a pretty darn popular sale, most every blogger I know is going to cover it. Sell out risks are HIGH. I’m not kidding when I say that stuff goes quick and doesn’t always get restocked. here’s so many deals to snag, that you CANNOT AFFORD not to wake up a tiny bit early for it.

PLUS: There’s stages to it. There’s Level 4 access, Early Access, Cardmember access…I would not be a good blogger if I didn’t tell you when all those stages are happening so you can be informed as to when YOU will be able to have access.

What are you going to be covering? The sale goes on for a couple weeks once all the access levels are rolled out. Cleveland Weekend Roundup

Had the BEST time this weekend for a little Parent’s Weekend away in Cleveland! I am from the Columbus area and had took a girls trip there in the fall, but my husband had never been!

So much fun to be able to sleep in, eat and do whatever we wanted! Thank you to you all who gave us recommendations on where to eat and what to check out! Next time we will definitely be catching a baseball game! Hoping to be able to check out more spots next time too!

Wanted to roundup in one place where we went and relay the other popular spots you all suggested for those looking to visit again as well!

Hotel: This is my second time at the Hilton Downtown Cleveland, from service to location– I cannot recommend this place enough! The hotel lobby bar (Eliot’s), and restaurant The Burnham both were great– a great local feel too. We took in the sunset up at Bar 32 and WOW! If you stay, don’t miss! They really do have a LOT of local pride and it shows!

Restaurants:

TownHall (Ohio City): We went here for brunch, thought it was OK– I grabbed a Tumeric Shot, and a bloody mary which were tasty but not crazy good. The place is busy, so I know the locals like it, but I think that the beset thing they have going is the ambience. The spot is beautiful and its a great place to catch a game and a drink .

Urban Farmer (Westin Hotel Downtown): This place was more my speed- Bloody Mary/Mimosa Bar and a brunch buffet. Great spins on classic breakfast items, and they emphasize the use of locally sourced ingredients.

Nuevo (Downtown Near Rock Hall): Great food, even better drinks. I LOVE fresh margarita mix, not bottled sour mix and this was SO GOOD. (Cue the “I had too many” regrets).. On the water with a cute patio– second visit there and it was consistent to the first.

Other Locations:

The Marble Room- Great ambience and food for a dressy Happy Hour or Date Night.

The Flats– It was suggested that we couldn’t go wrong anywhere in The Flats fun bars a food. Sadly we couldn’t make it.

Flap Jacks- Brunch!

Momocho: Suggested for awesome Mexican

Little Italy: Suggested for Yummy Food and fun atmosphere

Siteseeing: We only had great weather on the first evening so we were able to walk down to Nuevo to eat which is right next to the water and the Rock Hall. Great little stroll but it really kept us from having desire to leave the hotel with it raining so much. We did manage to check out the West Side Market in Ohio City, which was great and full of history.

The Great Lakes Science Center, I think primarily attractions for kids. But my husband really wanted to get on the William H. Mather Steamship– so we paid to do a self guided tour. This was a fun piece of history to see!

Rock and Roll Hall of Fame: We did check that out, since its so close to the hotel and also my hubs is a HUGE music fan. Got to see what we wanted, they have a great little summer concert series– would have been fun to stay for had it not been raining.

Look Of the Day: Kimono Trend

Today’s look is SUCH a fun look for summer and its all centered around a VERY popular trend this summer. You can add a kimono to just about anything and takes your look to a whole new level!

I would definitely encourage you to try this trend and this outfit is a great place to start! It showcases the vibrancy of this kimono and can be worn to the pool or a party! I have linked not only this outfit, but a few other fun statement pieces to add to your Summer Style!

Summer of Color: Gibson x Hi Sugarplum! Collection Launch

I cannot even begin to tell you how excited I am about this collection. This collection was just like the last time Gibson x Hi SugarPlum! had their resort collection! To not be able to talk about it until now has ABSOLUTELY KILLED ME! You guys know that Black is my happy color, but let me tell you — I think Cassie has me converted. This collection has me SO happy for summer, and all the color it can bring.

Sizing: My typical sizes are 10/12 and M/L tops– I like to wear a Large in all tops and bottoms with Gibson and this collection is no different. I will say here and also in my try on in Instagram will say that EVERYTHING fit to a “T”. Don’t miss my try on in Instagram Stories!

A LOT of attention is paid on fit with these collections but by far my favorite thing is that there is sizing inclusivity. This collection is available in petite and plus sizes. Also– EVERYTHING IS under $100

What I like best about this collection is the versatility and how you can totally make each outfit yours. Styling the looks, you will see many different ways to be able to wear the pieces and that is truly such a great feature of these designs. I am always looking for my next fun accessory to help keep me outfit on trend and updated looking. Since we are in FULL Summer Swing I rounded up my favorite accessory finds UNDER $30 at Walmart! I’ve had the chance to browse around pretty often online… whoops sorry babe! 😉 And they are killing it with accessories! Lots of fun options to help dress up a simple outfit, and they are all great prices! My fun little backpack is great for a day at the amusement park to go hands free, and my slides are an on-trend snakeskin print and super comfy! I love this new light wash denim jacket, so I styled it for you here two ways for summer! I love how easy it is to pop on, and the light wash is PERFECT for summer!

I have been LIVING in my Victoria Emerson Wrap and Boho bracelets. I have showed these in stories recently and have worn them with literally everything.
