Hey Friends!

Happy Weekend!  And Happy Fall Ya’ll! We have two baseball games today and then the Hubs is taking Hayden to the Football game! It’s been a busy week and I hope you are all using this time to relax and recharge! Today’s outfit post was inspired by my outfit yesterday, I went to the bank, pharmacy and returned items to the mall and got compliments on this shirt in all three places! Ok, I guess we are of the same chips and queso lovin’ family! ;O This t- shirt is apart of my recent graphic t-shirt roundup that I recently did. I loved it so much I knew I needed it! I am LOVING this buffalo plaid shirt, definitely adds a bit of flair to the outfit, I don’t even think I have worn it buttoned up yet! Overall it’s a fun Fall look, sure to get compliments on!

New Store in Town: ALMA MATER

Here in Columbus we take our Buckeye Gear very seriously. I am always looking for new gear to sport, and I was so excited to see that ALMA MATER opened a new store in the Bridge Park area of Dublin!  I am familiar with the brand as I have followed them a while on Social, but I was so excited to see they opened a new store! I am proud to wear their styles not only in support of my favorite team, but also for their strong social responsibility and commitment to USA Made products.

In addition the Apolis Street Market bag I am holding, has many prints to choose from but it has been made by female artisans who are earning a fair wage in their respective countries. It holds up to 135lbs! Perfect for all our Farmer’s Market Finds!

The styles the store creates have a fun vintage vibe, and clearly stands out in a crowd! They have kid, men and women styles and actually the sweater I have on in these photos is made for men or women! Ohio State isn’t the only school they carry, the online store has a huge selection but the store also has local styles to pick from!  If you are in the area, I highly encourage you to check out the store!

Today’s Outfit of the day features one of the most gorgeous kimonos that I have seen this season! I tried it on for you on stories a while back and also last week. It’s such a statement piece and the colors are just too amazing! It will transition so well into the holiday season, you can put it with a dress and booties and take it with you to a holiday party! Happy Sunday! I hope you are all enjoying your weekends! My Buckeyes won so you know I woke up a happy girl! Today’s Outfit of the Day is all about the linen Moto jacket! You know I have a thing for jackets and my posts have been full of jackets getting us ready for the upcoming season! I love this one because of how lightweight it is, its great for weather that’s not too cool- but also you might want to cover your shoulders. Its such a great color, mix of feminine and moto!

Outfit of the Day: Black Denim and Graphic Tee

Hi Friends!

I hope you are having an amazing week! The weather has cooled here a bit in Columbus and I have been enjoying EVERY minute of it! I have done a LOT of try ons for you this week on Instagram Stories, and I SO hope you have enjoyed them! Today’s Look of the Day ties right into it perfectly, and its great for all the “Mom Duties” and keeps it fun too! This pair of denim as been apart of the try ons, they are a fund washed black pair and high waisted. It’s kind of a throw back design with the button fly too, which adds some really fun interest. I have talked a lot lately too about my graphic t-shirt obsession and combined with our love for coffee too, I had to snag this tee. My shoes I paired are also a fun little throwback to retro style, keeping it fun and comfy!

Outfit of the Day: Purple Tunic and Leggings

Hey Friends! Today’s Look of the Day post are a few favorite pieces perfect for on the go!  I just love the colors! Purple in general is one of my favorite colors, I think its so versatile and can be worn in all the seasons! That makes it such a good buy! This V-Neck tunic is a great one, covers the booty, lightweight enough to layer and is such a pretty color! Accessorized with a blanket scarf, it can be worn when the weather is cool or stowed in your purse when it gets slightly warmer. Easy to wear with my everyday high waisted leggings. I added a little front tuck just for a little playfulness! You know I can’t say enough about my booties, I’ll keep talking about them and wearing them as long as they make them! Waterproof, comfortable and chic!

Outfit of the Day: Cozy Tunic Sweater

Hey Friends!  This  is LITERALLY one of my favorite looks to date all because it’s all about the cozy. On the go, and to sports games especially in the fall, I need to be comfy, able to layer and move around. This chenille turtleneck top is one of the coziest things I have found so far! It’s made of a chenille material and is perfect for leggings or denim.  These leggings I can take on the go or to fitness class, they are high waisted and can be worn so many ways! I love my slip ons– they are great with any casual look too!

Outfit of the Day: Graphic Tee Roundup

You know me, Kinda Classy Kinda Hood. No but really, graphic tees are HUGE right now, with the 90’s coming back – thought it would be really fun to do a roundup of all my favorites I’ve seen! The one I’m wearing would explain my being a child of the 90’s —  Mo’ Money Mo’ Problems! I am literally Laughing out loud as I type this. :):):):):) Graphic tees are a fun way to spice up an outfit and show a bit more of your personality!

Look of the Day: Pink and Floral

Happy Labor Day Weekend Friends!

I hope you are all enjoying the time off, and looking forward to the change in seasons! Football season kicked off this weekend and here in Ohio, we have been counting down the days! Today’s outfit post goes perfectly with the Amazing Labor Day Weekend Sales! I’m sharing this outfit today because its apart of the LDW sales but also it has such a pretty mix of colors and it just makes me happy!

The cardigan I saw it and it has THE prettiest color of pink and almost purple. It’s super soft and love it with jeans and a t-Shirt but keep it cozy with a dress!  I love the pop of colors and flowers with this T-Shirt, and these mid rise jeans have been on repeat! I LOVE the distressing, they are soft, stretchy and they fit just right!  My booties I had from last season, but they fit right in for this year too- comfortable to wear all day!  Be sure to check out my SHOP page for all my other favorite picks to grab some more great deals!

Falling into the Weekend: Fall Bucket List

Hey Friends!

Weekending is a favorite for so many of us! In the Fall especially, weekends call for Brunch, Farmers Markets, long coffee breaks and our long awaited Football Season. If you live in Ohio, you know that’s a big one for all of us! I definitely live my best life when tailgating! The seasons change so quickly in Ohio, and it seems like this time never lasts for too long. Our family however, we are bound and determined to enjoy the heck out of it! I try not to get to ahead of myself, by making the list too long and unattainable. So here’s my Top 5 items on my Bucket List for Fall.

  1. Enjoy a Saturday Football game with Friends and Family: I was brought up believing that College Football is “Columbus Culture”, Saturdays in the fall are dedicated to just that. Once September hits, our weekends schedule is dependent on when the game is being played that day. EVERYTHING is scheduled around it. It should be no surprise that hitting up a game or two is now top on the list of priorities. If you are in town for a game, be CERTAIN you let me know– my husband and I are definitely up for a little Saturday Tailgate fun!
  2. Saturday Morning Farmer’s Market: Before I had kids this was one of my favorite things to do on Saturdays. Hitting up the Farmer’s Market is always so magical, early in the morning, crisp air and fresh cut produce and flowers– I just love it! Since having kids, this idea has taken a backseat since its just too hard to get everyone up and going. Now my boys are a bit older and they are eager to go grab some tasty treats. Provided sports don’t conflict, this fall you can find me at a local spot at least once!
  3. Pumpkin Patch visit with the Family: Also a no brainer! Hayden and Presley LOVE picking out their pumpkins and taking a ride on the hayride!
  4. Make Apple Cobbler: Most of the time candles fill the air in my house with such a fresh apple smell, but I love taking the time to make and enjoy an apple cobbler in the fall! My favorite apples to use are Honeycrisp0 and I usually eyeball a recipe from Pinterest. How can you mess up Apples, Butter and Oatmeal?!
  5. Go for a Drive to See the Fall Colors: When my husband and I lived in Michigan, this was TOTALLY a thing. Seeing the colors change in the leaves on a drive or walk with a coffee in hand… Ahhhhh. Love it. Ohio it’s a not too much something that we do, but I still enjoy a country drive and take time to see the seasons change.
