Look of the Day: Finally Fall?

October 12, 2018

Hi Friends!

Finally Fall on a Friday?! Yes please!!!! We can finally start pulling out all the stops in our favorite pieces for the fall!  THIS OUTFIT. This is like one I LIVE in, the athleisure trend, I’m pretty sure it’s made for me. Functional, easy to move, I can do ALL THE THINGS in it. Loving this print mix too, we have done a tiny bit over the past few weeks with leopard and stripes, and nothing really excites me more than to start mixing in a little camo! #momperfect Ya’ll if you don’t have this vest YOU NEED IT! Layer it together with literally everything, hoodies jackets or exactly like I did  with the stripe tunic! And you guys these boots…THEY ARE MY FAVORITE! They keep you stylish with the slight wedge but also, extreme waterproof technology will let you jump in all the puddles! 😉 And I hope you do!

Ok, here we go fall- show us what you got!

As always friends, thank you so much for stopping by and I cannot wait to see how you style it!

Look of the Day: Black Cardigan and Black Cami

October 10, 2018

SHOP THE POST

Hey Friends!

Happy Wednesday!

I hope your week is going well! Today’s Outfit of the Day post is all about that same black cardigan from yesterday’s post! Here is another way you can style it and this time, more for date night. I kept things simple and a bit sexy with the black Cami- I really like being able to add a little spice with camis, they are too sweet but also comfortable because they are a bit oversized! I paired the outfit with some leopard flats just to kick it up and break up the all dark look.

Well, if you haven’t got yourself a long cardigan yet- whatcha waiting for? 😉

Thank you so much for stopping by, and as always I can’t wait to see how you styled it!

Hey Friends!

Its a new week full of new intentions!  I have been a busy bee working away this week, working on some new and fun things coming up! I showed you this outfit– kind of a sneak peek situation over the weekend because the deals were just too good to pass up! I am a huge fan of this duster, I love the length of it! Such a statement piece and its super cozy! You can dress it up or down, here I paired it with a graphic tee to keep it more on the casual side.  You know we all love a great graphic tee, its a fun way to show another side of your personality.  The hem on these jeans are so good, just a tad of distressing. This whole look is great for a day running errands, you can stay functional and a bit sassy.

Stay tuned for another look with this cardigan later in the week. One Piece two ways! Easy piece to add to your wardrobe here for the fall!

I hope you enjoyed today’s look- as always thank you for stopping by! I can’t wait to see how you style it!

Happy Weekend Friends!

Today’s outfit post is all about transitioning our summer pieces into our fall wardrobe! Ohio weather is TRICKY- cool in the morning but you regret that long sleeve by noon! I have done a few other transition outfits previously, but this was a fun one because I am loving the tie around the waist looks lately! I could have done my denim jacket too, but just to spice up this easy T-Shirt Dress I added the flannel!

Easy Peasy look combing our summer and fall pieces! I hope you all enjoy the weekend and I look forward to seeing how you style it!

Trending: Leopard Print + Look of the Day

September 27, 2018

Photos by Natasha Anne Photography

Hey Friends!

I am going crazy over here with alllll the Leopard Prints, like I need them all! I know you all are loving them  as much as me because ya’ll loved this top from the date night last week! This shirt is great not just for a date night, but workwear appropriate too! Honestly, to me I feel like leopard print is a neutral, even though its considered a “trend”, does it really ever go out of style? Also, what I love about it is that you can do as little or a lot as you want, its all about personal preference. And it ALWAYS adds a little fun.  This is why I think we all are just gravitated by it, always noticeable, always stylish!

Today is an Outfit of the Day Combined with simply the MOST delicious roundup I have EVER done. I have SCOURED the internet, and found all my favorites, and at nearly every price point. I have done all the work for you, all you need to do is decide yourself is how far ya gonna go! It’s safe to say that this trend is here to stay, so go ahead, treat yo-self! Enjoy Friends!

Check out my stories on Instagram, I will show you the pieces that I added and what’s still on my personal wish list!

Outfit of the Day: Stripe Dress and Floral Scarf

September 26, 2018

Photos By Natasha Anne Photography

Hey Friends, Happy Wednesday!

Our week has been going by quickly, we have had quite a bit of rain this week, but I really am ready for the gloomy cozy days, so it does not bother me one bit! Today’s outfit post is for a more dry fall day! I like this look because its a fun way to print mix, and its a nice transition outfit for when the days start out cool, but end up on the warmer side. <Le Sigh, Ohio> I have worn this dress a few times, is very comfortable and great for layering!  You’ll need to take a peek because its VERY affordable. I like the print mix of this look, so fun with the fall floral scarf! I have tried on this scarf in my try-ons a few times, and I think its a great piece to add for some cute color! My booties are making yet another appearance here on the blog, I had these from last year, I LOVE the perforated detail and they are SO comfortable! If you are a teacher or anyone who needs to be on their feet most days, I highly recommend!

Thank you friends so much for stopping by! I really do appreciate it! I hope you enjoyed the OOTD, and as always, cannot wait to see how you styled it!

Confidence Campaign with EVEREVE

September 23, 2018

Isn’t Confidence something that we all wish to have, but sometimes we have to “Fake it Till we Make it?” I certainly have done that more times than I would like to admit! There are always seasons of life where I feel like confidence maybe comes easier than others, and definitely there are situational events that can change that in an instant! Being confident doesn’t come easy to everyone- some of us need to work at it and I will say I am definitely one of those people!

SHOP LOOK 1

SHOP LOOK 2

Just because I have a Social Media account or talk on Instagram Stories or blog about my life does not mean that I always confident in what I’m putting out there to the world. Actually you might be surprised to know I am a bit of an introvert and a tiny bit shy! I’ll be the first to admit I am awkward sometimes in conversations and I often walk away thinking to myself “Why did you say that Sarah?!” I scold myself and tell myself that whatever it was — I didn’t say that right or that the other person is going to think less of me. Even writing that down makes my heart hurt that I would talk to myself like that, there isn’t another person on this EARTH that I would say that to- so why to myself? I can’t even answer my own question, but what I will say is that when I do recall these conversations with say my husband, his recollection is not the same AT ALL.  He will often tell me , and not to toot my horn at all, but he will say that I was funny, kind or quick witted. Interesting how my mind can play tricks on me like that, huh?

Claiming that I have all the answers, or saying that I have the quick tricks to better confidence- No way sister. I am a work in progress. I am full of ups and downs, and it’s OK to say that! What I will say though, is that I DO have a few tricks up my sleeve when I start that talking inside that tears me down.

When I start to feel like I am less than, I try to recognize it first– and take a moment inside to say that this is going on. What I TRY to do– a no, I’m not perfect at it– is that I take a look at all that I have overcome. Whether it be weight loss or speaking in public- I think about the last time I felt this way and what I did to turn it around. Did I feel sick to my stomach to host a party but I did it anyway? Did I have a great time? 10 out of 10 times I am GLAD I did it! I draw back to those experiences and look forward to my new feelings in the moment and tell myself– YES, yes you can.

Another little trick I use, and you might be doing it already, is that I surround myself with honest, caring, and open friends where I can ask them what they thought. BUT the catch here is that they don’t use that as a reason to question my confidence. They know they  we can have a friendship that is one built out of building each other up — and being able to say things in an honest and open way. It’s a way to check myself and my attitude, before I go any further! If I don’t have a friend, I’ll ask my husband– I know he’s always game to tell me how it is.  🙂 It’s truly so valuable to me!

The same can be said for when I need to rely on friends to tell me the truth- I can rely on EVEREVE to help me feel my best in what I wear. I have shopped at EVEREVE long before I had this blog, and I have made some of the best friends just out of connecting with women and stylists who understand my needs and are there to help me outfit it. The ladies in store are there to address my concerns and help me feel confident in outfit that I have chosen, whether it be just for outfit updating or a new look for date night. I know they have my back.

At the end of the day, just go for it- because the only one who can do it you. Hold your head high, do something scary, take a risk and see how you feel after. You got this girl! Thank you so much for stopping by, I would love to hear how you work to encourage yourself and be confident in your own life!
