Holiday Sparkle: One Top, Two Ways

I know I start prepping for the Holidays sooner than most because I love to enjoy twinkle lights wayyyy too much, but I really feel like it’s sneaking up on us! That means you pretty much have permission to wear sequins or something sparkly everyday. LOL– I mean, if ya can’t now, when can you?!

I partnered with Nordstrom today and styled this sequin beauty two ways, to share how you can get a little more mileage from what we would consider only a dressy top— but go ahead a pop it on again for a little gathering with the girls and it will be the statement of the evening! I LOVE the monochromatic look and dressed down with a little denim! The sequin halter top, comes in three colors, I am wearing a large, I found it runs a little big so I could easily do a medium – so feel free to size down if you are in between.

Fall OOTD: Athleisure Style

It’s Fall Ya’ll LOL— It is even Fall if we don’t say that just once? I wore this outfit in New Hampshire, my new favorite location for all things fall. I think its a chic look in all black, plus totally functional for anything I need to do this season. This puffy vest is really cute and functional (Size down) and the belt can make it a bit dressier with a cinched in waist. There is a similar longer version that I also linked (and own, size down in that one too) Really good options for a third layer and you want to be hands free at the same time

Nordstrom has several cute things I can wear now and later in to the season, love partnering with them and sharing their new arrivals, it’s always been a go-to place for whatever I need.

Hey girls and Happy Saturday! We are practicing our “go back to school” routine, and I will say its not going all that well. LOL Boys are used to sleeping in real late, and they have QUITE the reality check coming their way!

I am working on getting back to a routine on the weekends with our Saturday Style Session starting with a little athleisure roundup on the blog today with Nordstrom. I literally LIVE in my athleisure, I shared a few new things during the Anniversary Sale, but wanted to share a few more things that I think will be great for wear now and wear later! 😉

Fall Athleisure Look of the Day

Hey Friends! Happy Monday! Fall is in Full Swing here in Ohio, and I am LOVING every second! I cannot believe how beautiful the leaves are! Sharing a little Athleisure Look of the Day with Nordstrom–– we are all in the mode for comfy, and functional- and Nordstrom has some great pieces I am loving for Fall transition!

I found these great pieces that are really easy wear to grab a bite to eat, head to the soccer field or run to a friends for a little patio time. The Joggers are some of my absolute favorite, not sweatpants and four way stretch– which means they can go more places and are super comfy at the same time. My pullover is a fun twist more un expected colors for this season, its fresh and perfect for adding on some layers.

What is really cool too is you can accessorize the look in a couple ways, add a jacket, vest or parka- since its not too cool here yet I added a beanie (which is a Mom-Must have) Cool Sneakers and Edgy Athleisure bag.

NSale In Store Try On 8/7

Oh the NSale has come and our shopping levels are beginning to open! Check out my other posts as guides to the sale if you haven’t already! I have a complete Girlfriend’s Guide to the Sale, My try on from the first day of access and also Tons more styled looks here!My In Store try on was so much fun! I will say the stock in store is not what it has been in years past– this is what I did, I made my wishlist and when shopping open — Every order was placed on line and I picked up what I could and then the rest is being shipped.

Our Next group of shoppers are Influencer status and It opens on Monday! I have the chart below if you wanted to follow along and mark your calendar!

That being said, I am putting up my in store try on for you ladies, I have the video saved to my highlights for you to reference as well!

This Look is one of the first I tried on I do love that tunic sweater there was a similar one from last year that I loved and couldn’t get my hands on! It runs a little big, but I still did my true size large! The MOTO is a HUGE surprise of the sale under $60!– I don’t usually go for this color but it is LIFE! so good with all black too which you can see below! Jeans are a great buy at $44 and a perfect fit with size 10 Brought home these pieces!
The Leopard print Barefoot Dreams Cardigan that broke the internet LOL So so pretty! this is not the “Lite” Version so its a heavier style sweater. Runs TTS, I am wearing the large. Grab it while you can!
This off shoulder chunky sweater is a DREAM. Its a little big I would tell you to size down if you can, but so pretty, slouchy and perfect for that Luxe Lounge style.
LOVE this moto jacket, the fur is removable and not irritating at all! Runs TTS I am wearing the large. These Good American Jeans are the HIT of the party. Gigi and I both bought them– one of my favorite Premium Denim hugs every curve and it so comfy!
I have not been able to get my hands on a leopard blanket in all the years I have shopped and finally did this week! So so pretty and soft! A splurge but it makes a great gift too!
Same tunic as you saw above only this is the gray color option– so pretty and again looks great with leggings which is a fall must! Under $50 for the sweater and the sneakers too! I LOVED them! runs TTS!
The Thread and Supply Sweater Coat is surprise for me as I didn’t see it online and love the fit when trying it on! Love it pair with this basic tee– which grab in all the colors its a fan favorite! Wearing my true size large in everything!
Cashmere wrap anyone!? I think there is a neutrals theme going here and I am.here.for.that. The layering tops I have on in almost every outfit I purchased in black and white. Great workwear option as its a jersey stretch material doesn’t add a ton of weight! Runs TTS!
Surprised by how much I was in love with this sweater! The Colorblock is beautiful, neutral but still a great fall color combo!
Brought home this look, COGNAC and BLACK– LOVEEEEEEE. from the sunnies to the shoes I loved it all and needed it stat. Great for girls shopping day look or a night out– love the mix and fit of everything! Jacket, jeans and tee all run TTS! I am wearing the large in the tops and 10 denim!
My shopper pulled this look for me and I am STILL Shocked at how much I LOVE it. Great for a street style look over denim and leggings! SUPER CHIC! I sized down in the Halogen to a M. Linked other brand options since its nearly sold out!
Another Madewell Cardigan that is a soft stretchy material, love the stripe, but I personally prefer the color block or plain color for my own wardrobe. I am wearing a large in both cardigans!
My favorite bootie of the sale, the heel is not too high so they are slip on comfortable. I wore them with almost every outfit in this try on. Brought this exact color combination home, but there are some other great colors I didn’t see! Cannot go wrong! Runs TTS!
This is the Barefoot Dreams Cardigan I came home with, its the lighter weight version — I just prefer the weight of it better. I wear the large and its so cozy great for lounge and everyday wear. Great price point its $65 normally $115!

Girlfriends Guide to the NSale: Top 5

Hey girls! I know there is SO much happening and so fast when it comes to the NSale. I have scoured literally the entire sale– so I know, it can be overwhelming. The upcoming seasons of newness is all so exciting, but how can we know we are choosing the best?! We want to shop the sale because we know there are good deals, but how can we sort through it all with such little time?

Let me help you sis. Wanted to share a post I created with my closest friends in mind… My list of Top 5, not overall because I fee like that would be too limiting and we all have different needs. Everything is in categories as a quick reference guide so when shopping opens, you will be ready! 😉

This Sweater is one of the MOST popular sweaters from last year and is BACK again! Its a great sweater lightweight enough to not get too hot, and comes in a couple colors. I am wearing the Medium, so you can size down one from your typical size. -xo Sarah

Right out of the gate I broke my own rule. There are 6 pair of denim, one for each leg style you will need for Fall/Winter. I am not a huge on paying a ton for denim so these deals are great to take advantage of when you are looking for a new pair. Skinny is a NEED, Try a new leg style, the Flare will make your legs look a mile long a great for date night. Or even the distressed hem pair to dress up with heels and wear everyday with sneakers.

Girl! Barefoot Dreams Cardigans are THE Best! Great gifts and run TTS! Rarely ever going on sale, its a big time popular item!

All my favorites, I will FOR SURE need each of these.

This Stretchy/Hooded Moto Blazer I have owned for two years and REFUSE to get rid of it. I LOVE it. Its super chic, has good amount of stretch and looks literally great over everything. If you want a jacket nobody has, grab this once at $50 off. I am wearing my true size large.

Athleisure Bottoms
SPANX and Zella High waisted legging are a STAPLE in my closet and should be in yours too! HIGH Sell out risk! Grab ASAP! SPANX I get 1 size up from my normal size and the Zella I get my true Size Large.

SPANX Leggings are a GREAT item to have in your wardrobe, snag them if you can since they are almost $30 off in the Sale. I size up one to an XL they have superior “hold you in technology” so they are kinda tight if you don’t.
these joggers were in my try on a few weeks ago and they are now apart of the sale! Great joggers under $40! I wear them in my True size large.
These leggings are a great yoga/athleisure legging are a staple at the Nsale. Great decision to snag these, even if you get them in another color you might not already have. Super Opqgue and great to wear with boots and all fall/winter. I buy my true size large.

I have this blazer in three colors and has NEVER been marked down this low– typically I have paid $99 for this and the Anniversary price is $49! I wear my true size large, its stretchy and a lined cotton material. Great for work and also over a graphic tee.

Everyone needs a little bling, these studs come in tons of sizes and are SUPER sparkly. IMO GO BIG! 🙂

YA’LLLLLLL Cannot wait for the NSale this year! Literally one of my favorite events to shop besides the Overall Holiday season! Want to know why I love it so much!? The Anniversary Sale is kinda like a shopping event and very unique in the way that its not like any other Sale. This is because we are getting access to NEW items, for UPCOMING Seasons and at amazing Prices!

Its truly a unique experience and who doesn’t love Fall anyway and its like like this BAM perfect timing and perfect (Seriously Discounted) prices! 😉

Almost all brands are represented many of my favorites are: SPANX, Barefoot Dreams, Vince Camuto, Steve Madden, KUT from the Kloth, Chelsea28, NIKE, Caslon, BLANKNYC , Caslon, GibsonLook!… And SO many Beauty Brands! Just to start! Cannot wait!

I am definitely not advocating for anyone to go into debt over the Event, but like most of these kinds of things, if you have a card you have earlier access– there is always plenty to go around so don’t worry if that isn’t for you but still would like to check it out!
