I recently had the most fun time ever hosting a Bridesmaid Proposal Brunch. If this is a new concept for, I was right there with you. I knew I wanted to do something fun and special to introduce all of my bridesmaids since some of them hadn’t met before. As I went down the Pinterest rabbit hole I started seeing this “Bridesmaid Proposal” thing over and over again. All of the pictures and ideas were so CUTE so I immediately knew I needed to do that 🙂

My planning began! I started collecting cute things and items and put together gift boxes for my bridesmaids asking them if they would be in my wedding. I reserved a private room at a super cute restaurant. We all met up in floral dresses, because…duh, I needed a cute theme, and had the most delicious brunch. We chatted and I introduced everyone, ate amazing food, sipped delicious champagne and gifted my very best friends with the cutest box full of goodies I knew they would love.

Let’s talk about what I included in the Bridesmaid Proposal Boxes because they were personalized and just felt so special. The light pink box alone was just so pretty, and then I had their names put in gold on top. I got the cutest little “I got the ring, but I need one more thing..” card and then hand wrote a note inside asking them to be in our wedding and letting them know how special they are to me. I got each person an Anthropology candle monogrammed with their first name initial. I also included the sweetest little hair scrunchies that say “I can’t tie the knot without you”!!! Then I filled it up with some of my absolute fave Colleen Rothschild products, because who doesn’t love to pamper themselves?!?! I would suggest making them special and unique to your personality and friend group…the sky is the limit on these boxes. Have fun with it!!

I went with a white, off-the-shoulder Amazon dress that was fun and festive. I love this dress, AND it comes in some other colors too if white isn’t your thing.

What is the FASTer Way to Fat Loss™program?

This program is a sustainable lifestyle that combines fitness, nutrition and intermittent fasting to increase muscle and lose fat. The program is guided by a Faster Way Certified Coach who will help you learn the tools you need to work the program and also assist in modifications as needed. This is a CUTTING EDGE approach that specifically addresses the needs we have as women (men too), helps us get better sleep and feel less deprived.

What exactly happens in the Program?

So the program works in “Rounds”. They are 6 weeks total: the entire first week is a “Prep Week” where our only job is to learn about the program. Jocelyn will help figure out our Macros, learn what the routine is and she will guide you through with videos, LIVE Q&A and tons of support. You will have access to workouts, meal plans and so much more via the app. You always have the full support of Jocelyn. For the full 6 weeks you will have access to our coach, we do daily check ins in our Facebook group. The goal is progress and not perfection. I sometimes miss a day and will have mess ups. But we all do, and that’s what the coaching is there for! After your 6 week round, You are automatically enrolled in the membership program, so you can continue your journey on the FASTer Way lifestyle with additional support. How Much Does this cost and What do I Get?

Your first round will cost $249 for the 6 week program. You will have access to the app with ALL KINDS of tools and information: Sample Cookbook, workouts, access to our Facebook group specific to your round start date– so everyone is in the same boat. LIVE training calls, support from your peers and coaches. Seriously No experience is necessary, you will learn everything you need to know once the round begins!

Is there a Food Plan?

YES! There IS a meal plan as well as suggested foods broken up into Protein/Carbs/Fats Etc. Since we all have different Macro Needs the same meal plan across the board doesn’t always work. So instead you have the freedom to make what you like to eat you just need to fit it into your Macro count for the day! (Which is why so many of us love the program, we don’t feel deprived)

What’s the Deal with the Workouts?

So the program provides us with at home and in Gym workout programming. The program is built around what our nutrition plan is for the day so we can see maximum results! HOWEVER– Some ladies choose to focus on nutrition and not workout, which is fine. I personally enjoy my walks and strength training at home, so I just continue with those. Really you can do whatever you like to do and what fits your needs! (Again, love the flexibility part)

Do I NEED to keep going on the rounds like You do?

No you don’t. NOTHING is held back in your round, you will learn ALL the tools you need to take the lifestyle and run with it on your own should you choose to give it a go without a coach! I personally LOVE the accountability and to have her help when I need it! So I just keep going! 😉

How often and for HOW LONG do you Fast in the program?

We Fast everyday in this program. In a typical day I will stop eating by 8pm and then start eating the next day around lunchtime (12/1pm). The Goal being 16-18 hours. Most of the Fasting is done while sleeping so really you just skip breakfast. If you are a huge breakfast eater, there will be a transition period but I found it to be pretty easily done after a week or so. Now I have no problem waiting until lunch and sometimes I even go longer if I know I am going to be out later in the evening!

Can you drink anything during the Fasting period?

Yes, I drink black coffee and water. You can also add tea if you choose. Adding creamers has the potential to break your fast with protein and fiber in dairy products. If you can’t handle black coffee, I know some ladies purchase Nut Pods on Amazon and that can be used– but once you get in the round you can ask our coach and find out what else is acceptable during the Fasting Period.

Can I do the program while Breastfeeding?

Yes, Our coach will work with you specifically on your needs and intake.

Hey Ya’ll ! I have had a few requests for a list of the Bible verses we wrote on the framing of thew new house– thought this would be the best place to compile the list. The house is going up SO fast, we are SO excited! Before ya know it I will be making a pot of chili and watching football! CANNOT WAIT!

So when we went through the house we picked verses that were appropriate for like the boys’ rooms, or the entryway, or living room etc. The boys weren’t with us unfortunately when we wrote them out, so I probably would have had more. But I feel pretty good about what we did do. 🙂 Glad we did it that night because the drywall literally started the very next day!
