Pink season is here girls! Ok, for me — it’s always pink season. Victoria Emerson is having their Valentine’s day sale and its the perfect time to snag some fun pink accessories for spring! My New Year’s thoughts, and a few Athleisure Faves

I didn’t really make New Year’s Resolutions, been there- done that. There once was a time where I would do that, but the Resolutions were things that I had never done before- get healthy, incorporate healthier eating and becoming more active. Sometimes I even have committed to more weekends at church or more date nights. Not to say that I don’t like making New Year Resolutions nor am I swearing them off– don’t take it that way. I LOVE the idea of making a commitment to myself to get better in some area of my life– I LOVE stuff like that.

In the past 5 years or so I have been pretty darn happy with my progress, I have definitely taken the time for self care and improvement, but the past two years have been a little more shaky. Lots of changes in our family that I have needed to navigate on top of starting a business– my own self care has been an up and down road, which I am fine with for new.

Goalsettting is something I have always been something I have been accustomed to and LOVE doing it. I love to see progress and committing to myself to get what I want and achieve in life and for my family.

My Goals this year are to commit to my workouts 5-6 Days per week and Drink my water! My favorite workouts right now are going to CrossFit and my Peloton Bike. I try to do at least 20 minutes to disconnect and have that be my “Me”time. With my water I know it sounds like a big goal, but 100 oz. is what I like to drink a day. I have been traveling so much lately I have not been able to get in everything I want– and I can feel a difference. So when I am home I am really trying to buckle down! I know it sounds so simple but let me tell you it improves me mentally just as much as it does physically!

This look was inspired by those goals, staple athleisure that I feel in style but ready for anything that comes my way! 🙂 Love easy pieces especially this JACKET that looks great with leggings and denim– also these shoes I have heard rave reviews about– and just needed to try! Transitional Brights Style Look of the Day

Hey girls! Ohio has hardly been super “Wintery” yet but I know we are all pining for that transitional weather colors and items that scream SPRING! LOL, so today’s post and outfit of the day with Walmart has some layers and fun things that help ya dress for — well not the weather but make you feel all those fun bright colored vibes. Resort Roundup

I know we are all gearing up for our warm weather vacations here very soon, ours is coming up in a month! I have had a ton of requests to get some suggestions up, so I am prepping a try on for the next couple weeks, until then I wanted to put together a roundup of the “Best of” from 2019 and the new stuff that is making its way to my house as we speak!

These photos I have here a collection of the most popular from last year, so keep in mind that exact items MIGHT be sold out, but if I can find them I have linked them. 🙂

This year I am going to print mix a little bit more and think outside the box when it comes to resort wear, and things I will be wearing. Spring trends are also working with brights which I think we are looking forward to as well!

The Soma Semi Annual Sale Roundup

Stockings were hung, we did all the holiday things and now its time for Mom to TreatHerself! 🙂 Ok, might have been the worst poem/haiku whatever there ever was- I’ll stick to my day job. 🙂

Nevertheless, the Soma Semi Annual Sale is where we ALL need to be today! My FAVORITE BRAS and all the goodies are on sale! Whether you have a Holiday Gift Card burning a hole in your pocket or not- I rounded up my faves so you can shop like a pro this weekend and get back to it! 🙂

My Favorite bras in selected colors are on sale under $30! Incredible deals! I wear them all the time! They are great shaping and also so so comfortable!

My Favorite Sleepwear of all time! Also on sale, lounge to max and stay comfy while sleeping! 🙂 The Cool Nights is so so good!

Oh and the Robes! We cannot forget the robe! I am all about that robe life and its a PERFECT time to snag a snuggly number or two. Here are my favorites!

Holiday Charcuterie Board Inspiration

I am all about the appetizers in the holiday season! At Christmas we typically just have appetizers instead of the traditional meals! We always have fun chilling and not even worrying at all about the food! So the easiest thing I always do is a Charcuterie Board- full of everyones favorites! Its always a party hit and so simple to make!

The Holiday Charcuterie Board of your dreams is possible with just a few simple steps! So the exact items are honestly not as important as just having a well rounded Board. This means having items that are sweet/savory and a little spicy! Its exactly how created the board I have here in my post! And too: Keep in mind, you are able to make it however you want! more informal situations I just throw it together with whatever I have! 😉

Holiday Style with Nordstrom

Hey girls! So so excited to be partnering with Nordstrom today on the blog! We have only 10 Days until Christmas and then we all have New Year’s Eve to look forward to, and party season is in full swing!

We have a few parties coming up in the next couple weekends, and these looks are going to come in handy! I styled a fun holiday look today to help you with a little party inspiration. Love love the new arrivals they have so full of sparkle, shine and velvet always elevates your outfit! You know that I also MUST wear outfits that are comfortable and that I can wear later too!


Today is all about the Velvet Pant! I wanted to style these Halogen paperbag waist pants a couple ways because they are SO comfortable. I love that the material is velvet which is so on trend, and the satin bow is flattering and SO holiday ready!

The first option on styling these pants is to pair with a holiday graphic tee which is fun for any evening out- and not to mention comfy. A graphic tee is a fun way of bringing your mood and personality through the outfit especially when it might have a little cheeky saying- but in this case there some really fun holiday graphics at a great price that are fun! I love the little touch of leopard in the shoes and with the coat too!

The second option on how to style the velvet pants is with a mood lifting sequin top! With the sequin top- when I put this on I was like “whoa”, I kinda always feel that way about sequin actually, when I have it on, I wonder why I don’t wear it more often! I LOVE the cap sleeve top— this style sleeve is one of my favorite cuts, covers your shoulder but also it is still party ready. This particular top has a couple colorways, so pick one that suits you – I love it paired with the velvet pants! NYE here you come!

Kids Easy Holiday Style

I used to stress out big time thinking about what the boys should wear at holiday time from church, school events and even just family get togethers! Should they match? Should they dress up? Every time I bought them something that was somewhat dressy, they really didn’t want to wear it, so of course I end up wasting my money. Such a bummer.

I have started taking a MUCH more relaxed perspective on things lately and over the past few holidays– I don’t put pressure on them to need to do anything. I will tell you what I have been doing that really helps, is in talking about Christmas for example- I ask their opinion on what they want to wear, and I help make suggestions based on that! Both Hayden and Presley are MUCH happier in the end and everyone wins!

They are taking over the blog today with Walmart with their own pics for what to wear for any holiday gathering! (and do you know how exctied they were when I told them Gracie could be in their pics?) Like Crazy Excited! Walmart has a great selection of Kids Clothes that are on trend and 100% affordable since they seem to be growing like WEEDS! 🙂

The looks that we have on in this post is likely just a go- to outfit for them, appropriate for anything we have going on for the next couple weeks. On top of that, they will be HAPPY to be comfortable and that is always a WIN in my book! 🙂 I linked the looks below in case you are also struggling on how to outfit the kids!
